Recently FamilySearch.org added a new feature that allows a user to search records that have not been transcribed. The feature is listed as experimental and can be found at the following link: https://www.familysearch.org/search/full-text
Once you either sign-in or create an account, you will be greeted with the following screen:
Simply input a name, place, and year range and the website will display a list of possible records that match your search terms. Once you become more accustomed to the website, you can narrow the records to categories like property and marriage.
The majority of the Columbia County records that are on the FamilySearch website are not transcribed, making this a very powerful research tool.
