Deer Island First School 1894

On the steps are Arthur and Blythe Gaitens, children of Jimmie and Lucy Usher Gaitens. Behind them are Mabel and Bertha Merrill. Standing next to the school house left to right are Robert Olson, Harry Enyart, Laura Merrill, Bessie Glendye, Flora Enyart, Mayme Enyart and the teacher Rae Bingham.
